It took us a while to get used to the retro technology but once we had relaxed into it, the driving experience was phenomenal. We wanted to try out a campervan, and this was the perfect opportunity - we had terrible weather for the first couple of days but, in spite of this, we remained dry, warm and had fun. Top tips: the toilet block was shut in our campsite so we took a porta potti which was perfect; we booked a heater from the hire firm which we definitely needed in the evenings; we also hired a bike rack from them - really easy to use. The camper van experience forces you to slow down -enjoy the journey! |
