Bertie is lovely and is fantastically presented. He ran like a dream and was so lovely and comfortable to stay in. He's clearly well cared for. We loved every minute.
Quickly got used to no power steering and only 4 gears, made the driving experience even better actually. Bertie was a hero on the steep hilly roads of the south west. Whole family loved Bertie .
The van was everything we expected. Yes, it has a bit of play in the steering and it is a 1.4 so its slow but we knew that would be the case and it wasn't an issue at all. We Loved Bertie!! People stopped us to chat about him, took pictures of him when we drove past. We had enough space and slept comfortably. I would recommend taking the awning as it gave us space to move our stuff out of the van and store it outside when we pitched up. Electric pitches were a bonus as we could use the lights and sockets in the van which you need once dark to avoid banging your head! We cooked meals in there really easily - it was all just really good fun and we would certainly do it again.
