Why Not Take a VW Campervan to the BIG Feastival
A relatively new foodie festival with tickets going on sale soon, The Big Feastival is the brainchild of Jamie Oliver and Alex James, and it’s set to be huge! It starts on 31st August 2013 running for just the one night (maybe more in 2014!), however the site opens in Friday 30th August. It is held at Alex’s very own farm in the Cotswolds.
Billed as a weekend of food, music, and fun for all the family, this really is a family friendly festival! Last year the likes of Paloma Faith and The Noisettes played the gig, plus Jamie and Alex’s own little musical effort – The Farm Loving’ Criminals! This year’s line up is due to be announced soon.
The Big Feastival allows campervans but not RVs or Winnebagos, as this is Alex’s farmland and isn’t really suitable for such large and heavy vehicles. We can’t think of a more suitable destination for our daintier little VWs! Jamie Oliver is a renowned VW campervan lover and we think even he’d be impressed with our beautiful little crew!
Camper van spaces are limited, and have a 6mx8m range so smaller tents and children’s shelters can be set up along side the campers. This is just the sort of festival our campers were built for; we really hope they get to go this year! Check out our festival campervan hire service.
