VW Campervans at the Isle of Wight Festival

The Isle of Wight Festival will take place between the 13^th – 16^th June 2013. You can take a look at the full line up here, it looks to be a fantastic year!

VW Camper Hire’s Southampton depot is based so near we’re within walking distance of the ferry port that takes you to the Isle of Wight. If you’re looking for festival campervan hire, we’re your van (man?)!

Campers are allowed at the IoW festival but please be aware that caravans are not. If you’re interested in taking a camper van be sure to get a ticket for the ferry for your vehicle too or you’ll be stuck at the terminal until you can book a space!  Take it from us, it’s liable to be very busy so book as far ahead as you can.

You can also have a tent or awning on your pitch as long as it does not exceed 7mx7m according to the site, which means a full Volkswagen full, plus a few more happy campers who get the benefit of staying with their friends and all the amenities of the vans instead of fighting their way through the camping area each day!

You won’t find water or electrical hook-ups here, but that is true of most festivals which allow campers. To be fair you’ll be having so much fun we doubt you’ll miss it!
