VolksWorld 2013 Isn’t Far Away! Part 2

Continuing on from our last post, there’s so much going on at VolksWorld 2013 we couldn’t get it all into one post! There will be displays by a number of VW clubs over the course of the two day event including The Split Screen Van Club, the only national club dedicated to pre-1967 Volkswagen Split Screen Vans with over 1300 members! This plus other clubs displaying at the show promise a great array of classic Volkswagens will be on show for the duration of the show.

For the more technical VW owner or enthusiast talks will be held in the theatre, timings will be released nearer the time. What the site does tell us is that an ultra-useful talk will be given on diagnosing and fixing common faults in the T3 (probably saving some of us a small fortune), and the previously very popular talk on breaking down and rebuilding a T1 engine.

More talks will be added between now and March and we can’t wait to get in there! The Car Park Show’n’Shine is a great idea for those owners unable to secure a spot in the main halls. Honouring the countless hours loving VW owners like ourselves spend making sure our beloved vans are kept in the best possible condition, the Car Park Show’n’Shine comes with promises of trophies for the best car and best bus on each day of the show. You don’t need a ticket or number, or even to put your name down. Staff will be combing the car parks for the best looking vehicles of the lot, they’ll come and find you!

There’s even more information about the show coming in Part 3!
