Proper Holiday, Cornwall Style….
Do you want to feel like you have truly experienced Cornwall with your campervan hire holiday? Well how about visiting the Royal Cornwall Show in 2018?
Held at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge, North Cornwall from 7th – 9th June, there really is something for everyone to experience and enjoy there.
It’s the county’s biggest annual event and is full of exhibits and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all that’s best in British food and farming.
It’s a top agricultural show which attracts a wide range of animals, entered into the hundreds of classes. From dog and goat sections to rare breed classes, rabbits, cage birds – even bees get noticed there! There’s also an amazing flower show, main ring entertainment on a grand scale and the traditional steam fair is a colourful extravaganza. There are stages and avenues alive with music, song and dance.
And if all that isn’t enough for you, you are situated in, arguably, one of the most beautiful areas of Britain, with the outstanding Camel Trail on your doorstep. 17 miles of flat, resurfaced railway line that takes you through beautiful countryside and alongside the River Camel – you can hire a bike or walk the few miles between Wadebridge and Padstow and really get a taste of what Cornwall has to offer. And Padstow itself is a proper Cornwall town that you really shouldn’t miss out on.
