Explore Dorset in a VW Camper!

Dorset is a fantastic county to visit, with so much to do for all the family. You can visit the remnants of monasteries and castles, museums, a brewery, have a day out on the beach, visit some wonderful restaurants, as well as find more than enough to keep the kids occupied for days! Dorset is probably most famous for it’s Jurassic Coast, which was the first area in England to be declared a World Heritage Site. Stretching more than 90 miles parts of the coastline have been dated to 185 million years old.

There are a number of camper and caravan sites ideally located for exploring this stretch of the Dorset coast, great for explorers great and small. The Dorset coast is also an ideal break away for nature lovers, cyclists, climbers, divers, walkers and many more outdoor pursuits. We find that many visitors to the Dorset coast are not first-timers. There is so much here it can become a bit of a tradition to visit the Jurassic Coast for generations of families ans they try to squeeze in everything it has to offer!
