VW Camper Hire are delighted to announce they have extended the fleet to include VW T5 California campervans with the addition of our brand new campervan Dexter.<\/a><\/p>\n

As the modern equivalent of our classic fleet of bay campers the VW California is the ultimate in practicality and comfort as is much closer to modern day driving than the classic VW T2 offering. With up to date technology such as rear parking sensors, electric raising roof, cruise control and climate control this camper is truly a modern day campervan offering.<\/p>\n

There are many VW T5 ‘campers’ out there which are T5 commercial vans that have been converted afterwards by external companies using their own materials and kits. Our new addition is a 100% authentic VW California built for purpose by Volkswagen. In fact our campervan has been built to order at the Volkswagen plant in Germany to our own bespoke specification to suit our needs.<\/p>\n

Why the VW California?<\/p>\n

We have been looking at expanding the fleet for a while and what the modern day camper brings is more flexibility in that unlike the classic campers Dexter can go anywhere in the UK and not just the surrounding counties. In fact its not the UK that the California can explore as we can now offer fully insured & breakdown covered European Camper Hire!<\/p>\n

In addition the VW California provides a far more comfortable campervan experience in the winter months with the top spec climatic control and modern creature comforts and safety features.<\/p>\n
