VW Campervan Prom Hire

To hire a camper for prom on a self drive hire basis will be the cost of the midweek/weekend hire for the period in which the prom occurs which includes the hire of the camper for one driver and passengers. Please note hiring at a day only rate is not possible. The usual hire conditions apply in terms of a £750 hire deposit (£1,000 for non UK residents), aged 25-75 years with up to 6 points on the license and no accidents in the last 3 years.

How many people can be transported in the campers?

Most of our vans can accommodate 5 passengers and a driver. If you have more passengers then you will need to hire more vans or do multiple trips to the event.

Can you provide a chauffeur for the prom hire?

Unfortunately we do not provide chauffeurs for proms. The reason for this is that it is illegal for any VW hire company to provide a chauffeur unless they hold the correct license from the local council for special private hire. ( A form of taxi license). Many VW hire companies do not seem to know this and we recommend that you check that they hold a license from the council otherwise your children are not covered by any insurance and are travelling illegally. Of course self-drive hire of the vw camper by yourself is fine.

Can we do our own decorations in the camper?

You can decorate the camper yourselves as long as there is no adhesive used don't damage the van and the decorations are pre-approved by us. We are happy to help where possible.
