Expensive but worth it for the adventure.
The VW was exactly as described, very cute etc but an absolute pig to drive and that spoilt the experience. The trip was organised as a surprise and whilst the concept of a camper van trip was fine I would never have chosen a VW as I had heard they were difficult to drive. I just could not believe that even after 4 days I still was having difficulty finding any gear. One thing that was excellent was how very easy it was to get the pop up roof up and down on my own, and my hill-start adventures have made for some good stories in the office too
Camper was clean and in good condition.
As described. Surpassed expectations.
